As we continue to grow, it’s been necessary to hire more teaching staff. Not only are we comitted to hiring the necessary number of teachers, we’re also committed to hiring the best instructors we can find. Below are our most recent hires:

Kimbe Abernathy, Freshmen Educator – Successful salon owner , Kimbe is a Licensed CA Cosmetology Educator with over 11 years experience.  She has specialty training in Business Fundamentals, Nuts & Bolts, National Design Team Educator, as well as being skilled in all aspects of Cosmetology training for groups and individuals.

Teresa Bruno, Freshmen Educator – Teresa is a Licensed Cosmetologist with over 34 years of experience as a professional Cosmetologist and Educator. She has specialty training in Business Fundamentals.

Robin Rogers, Freshmen Educator– This is Robin’s second round at alameda beauty college. Robin worked at abc in the early 2000’s before going to miss marty’s in the city. Now she’s returned and brings her passion to teaching freshman and preparing them for life on our salon floor and beyond. Robin is a Licensed CA Cosmetology Educator with over 26 years experience. 

Cassidy Ryan, Theory / Salon Floor Educator – Cassidy comes to us from Buffalo, New York and is a Licensed Cosmetologist with over 6 years experience as a professional Cosmetologist and Educator with a Bachelor’s Degree in Career and Technical Education as a certified teacher. Cassidy has specialty training in Business Fundamentals.

Jennifer Casuga-Reyes, Salon Floor Educator – Jennifer is a cutting specilaist and a Licensed Cosmetologist with over 9 years of experience as a professional Cosmetologist and Educator.  Jennifer has specialty training in Bumble & Bumble, Vidal Sassoon, JPMS A Signature Gathering and JPMS Caper, and Paul Mitchell.

Vydiah Joseph, Salon Floor Educator – Vydia is a Licensed CA Cosmetology Educator with over 3 years of experience as a professional Cosmetologist and Educator.

Lisa Anderson, Floor Educator –Licensed CA Cosmetology Educator with over 16 years of experience as a professional Cosmetologist and Educator.  In addition to Educating, Ms. Anderson is a Salon Owner with degrees in Business Administration Sciences and Liberal Arts.

Denise Anderson, Floor / Esthetician Educator – Licensed CA Cosmetology & Skincare Educator with over 5 years experience as a professional Cosmetologist and Educator.  Denise is a Certified Dermalogica Skin Therapist and Massage Therapist with over 9 years experience, and she’s working towards her Honors diploma from the International Dermal Institute.

Tracy James, Floor Educator – Licensed CA Cosmetology Educator with over 25 years experience as a professional Cosmetologist and Educator.  Tracy has specialty training in Hair Design, Make up, and Cosmetic Formulas.

Maria Potter, Team Leader / State Board Educator – Licensed CA Cosmetology Educator with over 12 years experience as a professional Cosmetologist and Educator.  Specialty training in Matrix Global Academy, Cutting & Color; Principles of Vocational Education, Master Educator Seminars, and KMS Academy “Foundations”  Haircutting. Maria graduated as a student from abc many years ago and is proud to be back teaching at her alma matter.
